Deep Playa is a community of people in New York City that brings the Burning Man spirit in the default world. Our aim is to bring people together through our shared love of creativity, music, dancing, and the outdoors. We sprinkle magic wherever we go, applying the 10 principles of Burning Man to everyday life.
In order to keep our community safe, we operate on an invite only basis. This allows us to keep the vibes high, and ensure that those who participate have been vetted by someone. If you happen to stumble upon us in the wild you are welcome to join us, we just want to vibe check folks who join our community to keep everyone safe.
Invites to our events are sent out over email to our private community. If you're on the list you will receive and invite to our future events. You can always join our mailing list to find out about future events, and can always reach out to us for a vibe check.
If you have an invite to buy a ticket, you are also able to invite up to 2 friends you trust. Remember that you are responsible for your guests so please only invite trusted good vibes people. Once you have purchased your ticket, hit the "View tickets" button in the confirmation email and head to the website. From there you will find an "Invites" button at the bottom of the page on mobile, or a panel on the right on desktop. Enter your friends name and email and they can purchase their own ticket. Please only invite people through the system and don't just show up.
Our production involves operating in secret, and we can do extraordinary things when we do. In order to keep our community and events safe, we prefer to keep things contained. It helps us manage risk and ensure our events are successful.
